This XingMPEG Player installation allows users of Windows 95 who
have received a 16 bit version of the XingMPEG Player (i.e.,
version 1.x for Windows 3.1x) to install the 32-bit XingMPEG Player
version 2.01 for Windows 95.

Preparing to Install the XingMPEG Player

Before installing the XingMPEG Player, make sure the following hardware
and software is installed and working:
- IBM PC 486/Pentium or compatible computer
  (a Pentium with at least 8MB of RAM is recommended);
- Microsoft Windows95;
- a hard disk drive with at least 3MB of free space;
- a CD-ROM drive is optional;
- a sound card with a Windows wave audio driver is optional.
NOTE: To install this update, you must also have available an
installation disk/archive for the XingMPEG Player version 1.x.

Installing the XingMPEG Player

1 Turn on your computer and start Windows.
2 Choose "Run" from the Windows 95 Start menu; the "Run" dialog
  appears.
3 Type the path to the XingMPEG Player setup program (e.g., "A:\SETUP"
  if you have an install disk in your PC's floppy drive "A"), and
  click the "OK" button; the XingMPEG Player setup program starts.
4 Follow the setup program's on-screen instructions.
